The system operates on the principle of burning fuel in a bed of inert particles (quartz sand) kept suspended by a high-pressure compressed air flow, forming a fluidized state. Fuel fed into the combustion chamber ignites immediately at the high temperature of the fluidized sand layer, transferring heat to water-tube walls to generate steam. Flue gas passes through heat recovery systems (economizer and air preheater) and multi-stage treatment systems (multi-cyclone, bag filter/wet scrubber tower) before exiting through the chimney.
