PHAROS Green Technology Solutions Receive Positive Community Response
In many localities across the Mekong Delta, residents have expressed excitement about accessing products that apply green technology, especially solutions using clean energy in production and transportation. Beyond economic benefits, these products also help raise awareness of environmentally friendly energy use, moving toward sustainable development models and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
One notable activity was a program supporting electric propulsion systems for cooperatives in Long My Ward. The program was implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long My Ward and the Long My Ward Farmers' Association in coordination with the Can Tho Center for Application of Scientific and Technological Advances. Four electric propulsion systems were presented to Toan Tam Cooperative, Long Tri A Agricultural Service Cooperative, Nhan Giong Cooperative, and Quyt Duong Cooperative. The systems are equipped with 2.0 kW electric motors, battery power sources, and modern electronic controllers, helping ensure stable operation, reduce fuel costs, limit noise, and reduce environmental impact.
After receiving and putting the systems into use, the cooperatives highly appreciated the practical effectiveness of this technological solution. Applying electric motors not only helps reduce operating costs but also aligns with the orientation of green agricultural development and promotes green transformation in agricultural production and the collective economy.
The Can Tho Center for Application of Scientific and Technological Advances highly values the active attention and cooperation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long My Ward and the Long My Ward Farmers' Association in implementing the program. Their close coordination has helped bring advanced scientific and technological progress closer to local people, enabling cooperatives to access and apply environmentally friendly production and transportation solutions. The activity also contributes to raising community awareness of clean energy use, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
The positive response from beneficiary units shows that demand for green technology applications in daily life and production is increasing, while also affirming the effectiveness of technology-transfer programs when advanced solutions are deployed to the right beneficiaries and meet local practical needs. Through cooperation and technology-transfer activities, PHAROS MARINE. INC and partner units are helping bring innovative solutions closer to the community, creating economic, social, and environmental value.
In the coming period, the Can Tho Center for Application of Scientific and Technological Advances hopes to continue receiving cooperation and companionship from agencies, units, and enterprises to implement more practical green-technology application and transfer activities, contributing to green transformation, modern and environmentally friendly agriculture, and the sustainable development goals of the Mekong Delta region.
